Apprenticeship Summary

Hours per week:                              37.5

Qualification:                                     Level 3 IT

Duration of apprenticeship:        12-18 months

Day release requirements:          No

Functional Skills: Undertaking additional level 2 maths, English & ICT classes may be required if candidate does not hold A-C

Additional Requirements: Must have been an EU resident for the past 3 years.  Must not already hold a degree or Level 4 qualification.

Employer Job Description:

This apprenticeship is for a Service Desk/Help Desk Engineer providing IT Support for Residential Management Group. We are looking for individuals who have an interest in any of the following areas: IT Helpdesk, 1st Line Support, Software Support, Technician Repairs and Services

  • IT Service Desk Support.
  • First point of contact for all IT support faults, requests and guidance.
  • Responsible for recording and managing all customer contacts within our IT Service Management tool to agreed Service Levels.
  • Maintain and support the Residential Management Group’s standard computer devices.
  • Maintain and support the Residential Management Group’s software.
