Open Space and Communal Areas Compliance and Systems Officer

Grade F  - £22,969 per annum

37 Hours per week Monday to Friday (to be worked flexibly in line with business needs)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Compliance and Systems Officer within the Neighbourhood Team at Weaver Vale Housing Trust.  Reporting to the Open Space Team Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective management of Risk and Health and Safety within the Neighbourhood Team, in particular relating to the team’s role in managing communal areas in flatted blocks. 

We are looking for a positive and proactive person who will bring knowledge and enthusiasm to improve the open space and communal area service. In this varied role you will be responsible for managing and developing the use of a range of systems within the team such as the Trust’s Housing Management System (QL), the Geographical Information System (GIS), and its Tree Database to ensure we continue to provide an excellent service to customers while increasing our efficiency.

Responsible for ensuring compliance and providing performance information relating to Health and Safety you  will have excellent attention to detail with highly developed problem solving and analytical skills as well as the ability to work in collaboration to identify, report on and make improvements.
