Modern Apprentice – Admin Assistant

Grade B  - £11,201 per annum

37 Hours per week Monday to Friday (to be worked flexibly in line with business needs)

You will be working as part of busy Administration Teams within Property Services.  We are looking for somebody who is able to effectively and efficiently provide full administrative support for the delivery of all service needs including both internal & external customers specifically within the Voids & Improvements Team, Responsive Repairs & Heating Team and Facilities Management Teams.

The apprenticeship placement is for 2 years in total, and at the end of the apprenticeship it is expected that you will have gained an NVQ Level 2 and hopefully an NVQ Level 3 in Customer Service and/or Business Administration. This would be a great opportunity to ‘learn whilst you earn’, building up key skills which will then be a grounding for your career.

The apprenticeship placement is designed to give the candidate skills in understanding and communicating with customers, health and safety processes and procedures, supporting customer and system improvements, and general administration as part of successful and supportive teams.

A good telephone manner is essential, as day to day you will be assisting in dealing with & solving queries and telephone calls from customers and colleagues.  This role will need good written & verbal communication, office administration and I.T skills. You will be required to work well under pressure & deliver with a flexible and adaptable approach in busy administration teams. Good team working and customer focus for quality delivery are essential.
